Halloween Nails

This month, I had a Halloween revelation.

In the spirit of being festive, I brought a jack-o-lantern of candy into my office and filled that sucker with 4 bags of chocolate and gummies. Those 4 bags of candy cost $25! Who knew mini Milky Way bars were so expensive?! Lesson learned friends, wait until Nov 1 to buy 50% of bags of chocolate.

I tend to get really festive around the “holiday time” which I deem to be from Mid October-Jan 1. I wanted to create a REALLY easy and simple Halloween nail look that I could slap on quickly and still rep Halloween. So here you go:

What I used:

Orly Bonder Base Coat
Essie Licorice
Essie Blanc
OPI Happy Anniversary
Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Top Coat
Thin nail brush/Toothpick

Apply Base. Let Dry. Apply 2 coats of black polish. Let Dry.

Using a thin nail brush (or even a toothpick), dip into the white polish and drag 3 long lines from the bottom corner of your ring finger outward. Grab some more white polish and draw horizontal lines connecting the 3 lines you just created. Voila, spiderweb.

Using the same nail brush or toothpick, draw 2 white dot “eyes” onto your other ring finger. Then, wipe off your brush/toothpick and pick up a little black to create the pupil of the eyes. Super easy “ghoul” eyes.

If you’re feeling a little extra, go ahead and top some nails with glitter. Finish it all up with a top coat. (Make sure the designs are completely dry first!)

And there you go! Whether you’re going hard this weekend or just planning on handing out candy to trick-or-treaters, these nails will get you noticed.

…now seriously don’t forget to pick up candy on Tuesday.
